Senior Pastor Kenneth Rhoades

Central Baptist Church has been blessed with the stable leadership of Pastor Kenneth Rhoades since 1983.  Pastor, along with his wife Patsy, have been faithful, leading the church out of a servants heart.  Their work is seen not just in new buildings and a growing congregation, but in lives touched by the love of Jesus Christ.
 
Pastor Kenneth Rhoades was born and raised in the panhandle of Texas.  He was saved at the age of nine at the Bible Baptist Church in Borger, Texas.  Later he surrendered to the call to preach and after high school graduation moved to Springfield, Missouri to attend Baptist Bible College.  After graduation Kenneth and Patsy were married and served as church staff members in Florida and Missouri.  Upon his ordination brother Rhoades was called to pastor the Bible Baptist Church of Twin Falls, Idaho.  During his 14 years in Twin Falls the church grew from 19 to average 168, they were also able to purchase land and build to accommodate their growing congregation.  He has brought his determined work ethic and loving style to Central.
 
Pastor and Patsy have two children, Stephen and Cheryl and 8 beautiful grandchildren.  Pastor Rhoades considers pastoring, with all of its duties and responsibilities, as a call of God and a privilege.  He also enjoys reading, playing “42”, his grandchildren and Friday night dates with his wife.
